SMED team understands the importance of doing proactive planning through continuous critical path monitoring and management throughout the project delivery phase. SMED also specializes in preparing or reviewing extension of time claims which play a critical role for Contractors or the Engineer to the contract in determining who is entitled and who is not. Sumitha has a bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering (NZQA level 7) and over 11 years of experience as a planner/delay analyst in the construction industry. She has gained invaluable experience both in New Zealand and overseas in preparing tender/ comprehensive construction programmes, valuating EOT claims and solving contractual matters. She is also well verse in techniques like resource loaded and cost loaded programmes and tower crane hook time analysis.

She also stands out by her knowledge in EOT claim analysis techniques like Impacted As-planned, As-planned vs As-built, Collapse as-built, Time impact analysis and Time slice window analysis.
